The reason? I want into my greenhouse to remove the horticultural fleece from all my vegetable seedlings and to my delight, two small trees I have grown from seed are in flower.
In 2017 Mrs GG and I went to Madrid for a short break and visited their lovely botanic gardens. Beneath a huge handkerchief tree were a number of seeds which I collected up and planted on my return home.
There were twelve in total and eight germinated. I have given two small trees away but still have six that I over winter in my unheated greenhouse – and two are in flower this morning. No wonder I’m not too grumpy.
Happy Gardening!
